Community Service at the Shore

How many people does it take to change the world? Just one.

The Kiwanis Club of Point Pleasant is always busy planning ways to give back to the children in our community.

From hosting annual events like Pointsgiving and Camp Kiwanis to mentoring youth in our sponsored Key Club and K-Kids clubs, we offer plenty of ways to use your skills and make a difference in our community.

Interested in the club? Check us out on social media, join or sign up for our mailing list to receive updates about the club!

Projects

These are just a few of the projects we engage in. We often work with our sponsored leadership programs (Key Club and K-Kids) to complete these projects, furthering the ties between our organizations:

Pointsgiving: A town-wide day of volunteering.

BookSmiles: Drop used adults/kids books at our donation bins in Point Boro and Wall. Or volunteer with us to transport books so they can get to kids who need them in South Jersey.

Valentine’s for Veterans: We collect supplies for local veterans and their families—and have fun stuffing the bags.

Teacher’s Closet: Our closets in Beach and Boro schools ensure our local kids are never without school supplies.

Camp Kiwanis: Every year, we put on a one-day free camp for local children.
